FOTON-INSA is happy to welcome in 2010 Jean-Marc JANCU as a lecturer, and claudine KATAN as a researcher. Kamil KLAIME, is also welcomed in the lab in order to start its PhD.
In September 2010, FOTON-INSA will recruite at the PhD and post-doc level. Please contact  A. Le Corre for more informations.

The laboratory can propose several training periods subjects for Master and Ph. D. students.

research proposals to be proposed:

PhD subjects to be proposed (2010-2011) :

- Photonics on Silicon based on epitaxial III-V nanostructures on Silicon .

- Optical properties and many-body effects in nanostructures : atomistic calculations .

- Photonics on Silicon.

- Study of the non linear and dynamic properties in nanostructures quantum dots

- high efficiency nanostructures for multi-junctions solar cells on Silicon substrate.

 

Master degree: Modelisation of antiphase domains in GaP/Si nanolayers and X-ray diffraction

2007 : Charles Cornet, Lecturer at  "FOTON-INSA"  has won the prize for young searchers from région Bretagne.
